ADB, Stanbic Bank, and DBG Contribute to Farmers Day Event in Ho
Accra, Ghana – Three financial institutions have donated to support this year’s Farmers Day celebration in Ghana.
The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Stanbic Bank Ghana, and Development Bank Ghana (DBG) made the donations at separate ceremonies in Accra.
According to reports, ADB has increased its support for the Overall Best Farmer from GH¢1 million to GH¢1.2 million.
The bank also donated GH¢15,000 to the Best Agricultural Secondary School.
Stanbic Bank, on the other hand, donated a tractor valued at GH₵700,000 to be awarded to a successful and hardworking farmer.
DBG, making its first-ever contribution to the event, donated a tractor with three implements to support agricultural research.
The banks reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the agricultural sector, with ADB and Stanbic Bank having supported the celebrations for years.
