Ghana hosts second cohort of Kaizen training for West African Public servants

Ghana is strengthening its role as a regional hub for civil service training with the launch of the second cohort of the Third Country Training Programme (TCTP) on “Kaizen for Enhanced Public Service Delivery”.

This initiative, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Civil Service Training Centre (CSTC), brings together 30 public sector professionals from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Ghana.

Key Highlights:

  • Kaizen Philosophy: The training focuses on continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, teamwork, and public service delivery.
  • Regional Collaboration: The programme promotes cross-border solutions to common public sector challenges.
  • Partnerships: JICA and CSTC have collaborated for over 15 years to develop CSTC into a Centre of Excellence.
  • Programme Structure: A two-week programme with lectures, practical sessions, and study tours, following online preparatory courses.
