The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced plans to establish election review committee in January 2025 to conduct thorough post mortem analysis of their defeat in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
They said, they must and will rise again from the defeat and added that, we will be recognising ourselves for the battles of tomorrow.
The Chairman of the NPP, Mr Stephen Ayesu Ntim, said the committee will examine the need for constitutional amendments and restructuring the party’s internal decision making processes, particularly in electing presidential and parliamentary candidates and the party executives.
Mr Ntim, urged party members to engage in the destructing process with renewed Energy, added that, we cannot give up, we must get the elephant trumpeting once more.
He also continued that, this period was challenging for the party but expressed confidence in the party resilience.
The NPP said the committee will engage with party stakeholders and general public to identify the factors and circumstances that led to the party’s defeat.
The NPP Chairman said this at a press conference in Accra.
