Organisers of ShattaFest 2026 on Tuesday held a Press Conference in Accra to celebrate the success of this year’s festival and to explain its concept themed “HOTWAV – Connect Passion With Life.”
The press conference brought together stakeholders, partners and the media, although headliner Shatta Wale was absent.
In two audios obtained — one from a radio discussion where a lady presenter was explaining the festival’s concept and another from the press conference itself — the same message was emphasised: ShattaFest is more than music.
At the press conference, Chief Executive Officer, Nana, who addressed the gathering, said every major project provides lessons.
“That every major undertaking provides valuable lessons and we remain committed to learning, improving, and raising our talent with every new initiative,” CEO Nana said at the press conference.
“Ladies and gentlemen, today we celebrate a major achievement but more importantly we celebrate the people, the partnerships, the efforts that made this achievement possible,” he added.
He used the press conference to thank headline sponsor HOTWAV, partners B Mobile and Portway, security agencies, emergency response teams, management and the organising team.
He also thanked journalists, content creators, bloggers and thousands of fans.
“To the thousands of fans and supporters who believed in this vision, we say thank you to you also. This year’s event worked because we believed it could be done, invested in making it happen and worked to deliver it,” CEO Nana stated at the press conference.
As part of the press conference activities, the organisers distributed HOTWAV laptops to five people as part of efforts to empower the youth and appreciate loyal supporters of the Shatta Movement.
The press conference ended with an assurance from CEO Nana that ShattaFest will continue to grow bigger and better.
