More than 10,000 young Ghanaians have been selected as part of first batch of beneficiaries

The Vice President Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang has shared further details of the governments Adwumawura programme.

The Adwumawura programme is more than funding and training,it is about creating an ecosystem that gives entrepreneurs, financial management, digital skills, customer service, and sustainability strategies.

The orientation ceremony at the cedis conference centre, university of Ghana,on October 2, 2025, the Vice President said that the 1,000 beneficiaries of the programme were selected strictly on ment.

Professor Nana said, 10,000 young men and women have been selected for the 2025 cohort.

They demonstrated potential,determination and readiness to embrace task ahead.

Vice President, said more than 120,000 individuals expressed interest in the initiative henceforth, after rigorous security, 10,000 were chosen for the 2025.

The programme provides a comprehensive support package, including training in business planning, digital skills, customer service and sustainability strategies,she stated.

She added that,the overwhelming response are receive is a testament to the necessity of the programme.Accross the countries were received, showing the determination and ambition within communities.
