TThe Concern Imams of East Ayawaso have congratulated Baba Jamal on his NDC primary win, describing it as a “gross victory for the Qur’an”.
The Imams expressed confidence that Baba Jamal’s victory signals a new dawn of inclusive development, unity, and progress for the constituency.
In a press release, the Imams urged Muslims to adhere to Islamic principles and commended all aspirants for their decorum during the primary process.
They also appealed to citizens to choose peace and conduct themselves with tolerance and respect in the lead-up to the March 3 by-election.
Baba Jamal has officially filed his nomination to contest the by-election, citing his experience in governance and commitment to inclusive leadership.
He aims to tackle youth unemployment, infrastructure deficits, and social development in Ayawaso East.
