AGYEI-AGYEPONG LIVES UP TO HIS AMBITIOUS 6-POINT COVENANT PLEDGE
Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, has unveiled a six-point campaign covenant focused on integrity, unity, and service as he intensifies his bid to lead the party into the 2026 presidential race.
The former General Secretary of the NPP outlined his vision for Ghana’s renewal, citing the country’s struggles with unemployment, poverty, and failing systems. Agyepong’s six policy pillars include:
- Land reform and youth empowerment
- Urban regeneration and environmental protection
- Fiscal discipline and value for money
- Restoring meritocracy in the public service
- Empowering the informal sector
- Promoting creative arts and sports development
He urged NPP delegates to choose values over personalities, saying the party needs to reunite around principles rather than patronage.
The NPP presidential primaries are scheduled for January 31, 2026.
