Chalk Talk Foundation Africa has launched its 4th Scholars’ Excellence Examination to prep students for the BECE.
The exam focuses on critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills, aligning with Ghana’s education curriculum.
“The initiative has grown into an important academic platform, preparing learners for the BECE over the past three years,” said Madam Mercy Tetteh, the organiser.
Richard Kwabena Nsarkoh, Foundation founder, said: “We established this initiative in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to address educational gaps in Tema Newtown.
Despite challenges, we’ve promoted academic excellence and healthy competition. We’re proud of our past winners, Manhean Basic School and Bright Atakpah School, and look forward to more success stories.”
Over 350 pupils have benefited since the exam started. Reigning champ Master Bright Atakpah took home GH1,000 and educational materials.
