“A 24-hour economy requires a 24-hour financial system,” Mr. Deborah stated, urging banks like Republic Bank Ghana to develop financial products that cater to the unique needs of businesses operating around the clock.
He commended Republic Bank Ghana for its investment in Ghana’s financial sector and encouraged the institution to champion flexible, technology-driven services that support SMEs and enterprises.
The government remains committed to creating an enabling environment for financial institutions to expand digital services and strengthen support for SMEs, he added.
