Akurugu pledges development in Dome-Kwabenya constituency

The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Hon. Faustina Elikplim Akurugu, has outlined her vision for the constituency, highlighting key achievements and future priorities in her first State of the Constituency Address (SOCA).

Speaking at a gathering in Haatso, Akurugu emphasized her commitment to accountability and development, focusing on education, healthcare, sanitation, youth empowerment, and infrastructure.

She announced the commencement of the 5.2-kilometre Narhman–Grand Style Hotel–Musuku Road project, aimed at improving connectivity and livelihoods.

The MP also highlighted initiatives such as distributing educational materials, supporting health facilities, and implementing youth training programs.

Akurugu’s “Light Up the Constituency” project was also mentioned as part of her efforts to drive progress.

The event was attended by traditional leaders, political party executives, residents, and stakeholders.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga East, Edmund Agboh, praised Akurugu for initiating the constituency address and her development-oriented leadership.
