At the heart of Osu where heritage blends seamlessly with modernity, stands the Accra D Lounge Hotel an institution that has, for decades, quietly shaped the city’s hospitality story. Its journey traces back to modest beginnings.
A new start up called The D Lounge is offering travellers the opportunity to book hotel rooms at just 50 per cent of their cost. Obviously, there is a catch; they have to be willing to share the room with complete strangers.
We started D Lounge because we felt there should be an easy way for people to connect when they like a low-cost way to access the comfort and convenience of a hotel,” said CEO of D Lounge.
We wanted a safe, reliable, economical solution that provided a better experience than hostels or Couch Surfing alternatives.”
True to its legacy, the hotel has ensured that this expansion honours sustainability.
The development preserves green spaces and adopts eco-friendly practices, aligning with the global push for responsible tourism and setting a new benchmark for hospitality in the region.
D Lounge the stage is set.
The city is ready. The future of hospitality begins now.
